- Place a folded cloth towel in front of the unit. This provides a clean, dry surface work area. Avoid finger contact with solution excessive contact tends to dry out the skin. Place Beaker Band around the middle of the Beaker. When used in conjunction with a Positioning Cover, it will prevent the Beaker from resting on the tank bottom, but will allow the Beaker to contact solution. Glass Beakers are ultrasonically transparent and are used double boiler fashion much like the Auxiliary Pan. The Auxiliary Pan handles will keep it at the proper level in the solution in the main tank.
- UltraDose Ultrasonic Cleaning Solution Concentrate should be diluted as recommended. The solution is completely compatible with cold disinfecting solutions and can be readily mixed together.
- Keep heavy objects off tank bottom. Use an L&R Stainless Steel Basket or Auxiliary Pan for heavy instruments. Rubbing the frames with alcohol will minimize the discoloration of perspiration-stained frames. Heat or hot water should not be used. Do not operate unit without solution in the tank. Use caution on decorated frames; pasted stones and filigrees may loosen.
