Directions
- Place type in Basket (see notation below pertaining to smaller pieces) and immerse in ultrasonic tank 2/3 filled with warm Hydro-Sonic Cleaning Solution Concentrate Non-Ammoniated, properly diluted.
- Cavitate for 10-12 minutes, longer where ink is exceptionally caked on. When type pieces are bonded together, cavitate them for 6-10 minutes, separate, and cavitate again until they are clean (approximately 10-12 minutes).
- Rinse under warm running water and dry. In some extreme instances, it will be necessary to use a small brush to get ink out of crevices in the type.
Notes:
Dilution rates may be varied depending on the amount of caked on ink.
Smaller pieces will have to be cleaned in glass Beakers prior to being
placed in ultrasonic unit, as they will fall through the mesh basket.
