KEARNY, NJ – L&R Manufacturing Company is pleased to offer a revolutionary line of solvent-free cleaners featuring SF-50, a solution that removes the toughest, backed-on carbonaceous soils without the need of solvents (when used with an Ultrasonic Cleaning System).
 
SF-50, a highly alkaline material, is virtually non-caustic. Its cleaning power is derived from a combination of newly-developed, extremely effective surfactants. The recommended dilution ratios are from 1:7 to 1:15 but concentration levels may be varied according to the cleaning application. SF-50 may be used at room temperature or up to 180°F.  SF-50 rinses quickly and easily in water. While optimum cleaning performance is obtained by using an Ultrasonic Cleaning System, SF-50 may also be used in an agitated immersion tank or in steam applications.
 
SF-50 is safe to use on most metals including stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper and magnesium, as well as most plastics, ceramics and composite materials. It is also safe on most aluminum alloys when used at lower temperatures (up to 140°F) and for short contact times
(2 – 3 minutes).
