KEARNY, NJ – L&R Ultrasonics, a pioneer in Ultrasonic Cleaning technology, now features the SweepZone® 1000 as a complete system for SCBA Equipment. The S1000 Ultrasonic Cleaning System provides robust cleaning for SCBA mask applications with L&R’s advanced SweepZone® Technology.   
 
The S1000 system has various features designed to provide customers with convenience and quality.  The S1000 includes a timer and a drain as well as a stainless steel cover. Up to 6 masks can be cleaned simultaneously. SweepZone Technology also features the “Smart Circuit”, a custom engineered electronic component that offers efficient and complete Ultrasonic Cleaning. This circuit creates Constant Power Output (CPO) for consistent, total and uniform cleaning.
 
SweepZone Technology offers a state-of-the-art Ultrasonic Cleaning using a thorough and repeatable standard of cleanliness not obtainable through manual cleaning. Ultrasonics produce more than 40,000 alternating high and low frequency sound waves per second. As these waves travel through L&R’s SCBA Ultrasonic Cleaning Solution Concentrate, millions of microscopic vacuum bubbles form and implode.  This process, known as cavitation, creates a scrubbing action capable of cleaning combustible residue in minutes from even the tiniest interior areas. 
 
The S1000 Ultrasonic Cleaning System is applicable in Fire Department and Industrial Safety Facilities.  The easy to operate system cleans individual face pieces, head mesh, flame resistant straps, personal hygiene accessories, prescription lens mounting kits, neck straps, cylinder valves, nozzles, adapters, pressure reducers and covers, back frames, high pressure houses and couplings, exhalation valves and diaphragms in minutes. Contaminants, including products of combustion and body fluid, are removed from even the tiniest grooved and interior areas, including those areas impossible to reach by hand.
