Critical Instrument Cleaning for the Medical and Dental Fields
 
KEARNY, NJ – L&R Manufacturing is proud to offer a PreClean Soak System for surgical instrumentation and endoscopes. The system, which can be placed conveniently in the operatory, is designed so that once contaminated instruments are placed in the pan, they need not be handled again until proper asepsis has been followed.
 
The PreClean Soak System consists of a stainless steel soak pan, cover and L&R PreZyme Cleaner—a concentrated pre-soak instrument cleaner with enzymatic cleaning agents plus borax. Available accessories include cassettes and solid-side draining baskets (the same items that fit the Quantrex 140 Ultrasonic Cleaner). Contaminated instruments are enclosed in a cassette that is then placed into a solid-side draining basket that sits in the PreClean pan filled with PreZyme Cleaner. A soaking/cleaning action begins immediately. Cassettes and the solid-side draining baskets should go directly into your Quantrex Ultrasonic Machine when done. There is never a need to handle contaminated instruments— thereby reducing the risk of cross contamination.
 
PreZyme contains a unique blend of proteolytic enzymes and surfactants, which begin to remove blood and organic debris as soon as surgical instruments are placed in the solution. The solution is safe for most metals and fiberoptic endoscopes and is easily disposed.
